Not much lately in the way of progress since the welding repairs in the spring but she's in daily (problem free) use.Had a dog fight this week with a 1990 Golf GTi,we out-performed and out-handled with standard engine and suspension.
The new wheels were taken from a Rover 220 (Tomcat) 2.0 Turbo I've got in for sale (now on E Bay)Too much bling for me,clear lenses, lorry front bumper etc but the wheels and tyres are in pretty good shape. Some minor kerbing.Spent ages cleaning them properly.I thought the 50 profile tyres were going to be harsh but going up to 17" has improved the cars ride on our rough roads with untold speedhumps.
