Stupid but a serious questionI <3 Nissan 10-11-2006, 05:17 PM how is everyone. I just joined today. Anyway I have a question to ask. I recently blew my motor in my 240SX:banghead: . Now I love my 240 but im curious to know if it is possible to import and register a Nissan Silvia (S15 Model) in the US? If it is possible what is the best/quickest route into importing it? Any help will be apprecitated. I know i could just but in a S13 or S14 engine in but i would prefer a RHD S15. Money is really not that much of an issue. Thanks in Advance. 240SXSlideStar 10-11-2006, 05:53 PM Don't try. If he was in a position where it was possible for him to do it, he wouldn't be asking here. S13Driftfiend 10-11-2006, 06:53 PM true, but at least hell discover the search feature AND the faq and hell turn to those before asking a question. liquidPunk 10-12-2006, 09:35 AM hmm... lets just say, basically impossible! but, yeah, its been talked about endlessly in around 10 or 15 different threads. so search... and welcome to AF. slideways... 10-12-2006, 06:19 PM http://www.japaneseengineimport.com/eng/products/nissan/SR20DET-S13-BLACKTOP.htm now go, son, and prove your worth. you have learned well. http://www.aspsmiley.com/smiley/smilies/karate.gif Chuki_breath 10-12-2006, 06:44 PM i still dont get why you guys make it sound impossible. Its really not hard at all, just wont be legal. But there are ways around it. Couple imported cars around here. I <3 Nissan 10-13-2006, 08:44 PM Heres the problem I seem to have with the first 2 or 3 posts. 1. Just because Im on here asking doesnt mean that i dont have the funds 2. Ive seen one on Ebay that was in Florida and registered in FL. So thats why i asked if it were possible. My buddy uses this forum. Well not this one in particular but the website and told me that alot of you guys knew what your were talking about so i decided to give it a stab. S13Driftfiend 10-13-2006, 11:02 PM well if youre determined towards it, good luck. it may be difficult but not impossible.
