Im back , good new and bad newKilla 10-11-2006, 04:39 PM I just back from 3 day vacation at Texas ( 8 hours drive ), my ex and my daughter we take a trip together, you guy knew my tire was fuck, my friend was cool enought to give me 2 new tires and blance and install for me, I own him a big time. we really had a great time, traffic there is terrible we stuck in traffic for like 1 hours, I HATE MANUAL :banghead: . On the way we get back, it rains I was thinking fuck yea im in the right car  , let see what AWD can do, after a while AWD OWN the road, well it been rains for like 5 hours. We travel 70-85 mph. Fill up total 6 times, rest every 2.5 hours just got back yesterday and I really happy about it, the car been run so much better then I thought it was. bad new :frown: when I travel about 70-85 mph my oil pressure gauge ( the once on the dash ), the meter is going up then normal, I mean is pass the picture just a little, I knew im not overfill the oil. is this normal ? I just get under the car check, cause I saw I loose some oil on dip stick, then I saw some oil under the trasfer case, I though it was engine oil, after I use the flash light , it was fucking transfer case oil, it leak so bad :banghead: . I was like wtf I have no ideal where it leak from. I guess it was the seal from the yoke again, the yoke was never replace with the new transfer case, long time ago the new transfer case was put on, after couple hundred miles, I saw a very tiny leak from the seal, then I brought to the dealer, they check and told me, they dint saw any leak, I told them they have to replace the yoke, they told me when it leak bad bring it here, so here its, today I call them and they told me bring back tomorrow morning. http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/5166/leak2lt9.jpg (http://imageshack.us) http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/1596/tcase1mp8.jpg (http://imageshack.us) http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/9819/leakbz7.jpg (http://imageshack.us) on the las pix, before I take a trip, I saw a leak from there, so I tight up the bolt, then it stop leak, how hard is to replace that seal ? AbsoluteGTR 10-11-2006, 04:50 PM damn killer...lucky the transfer case didnt lock up on you...especially going 80 mph! What a pain in the ass a dealership can be... defiancy 10-11-2006, 06:35 PM I'd make sure to put some more fluid in the transfer case before you drive it to the dealership just incase. tfoti 10-11-2006, 07:12 PM BTW, that last pic is the turbo oil return line and all you need to do to replace that gasket is remove those 2 bolts. Killa 10-12-2006, 12:04 AM I'd make sure to put some more fluid in the transfer case before you drive it to the dealership just incase. Im out off red line fluid, I cant red line product where I live, RRE is only place I knew carry it. Killa 10-12-2006, 05:00 PM I take to dealer this morning ( my ex have to take me to school ). I just got my car back from dealer, they told me it was my tranny leak, I was like wtf how ?, they told me cause they saw red stuff on it, I told them that I was mix pennzoils with red line stuff. They told me I have no warranty any more. I ask why, they told me I was mix those stuff on the tranny, that Im not support to  . I told them, there nothing to do with tranny, it was transfer case leak, cause the oil that leak out was dark black red, I told them last time when you guy did the transfer case recall, you have to replace with the new U-Joint, they was freak out cause that the true ( kevin is right, transfer case have to replace with new U-joint, or else oil u-joint will eventualy destroy the new case ). Last time some other guy was doing the recall for me ( now he got fires cause he was fuck up on other people transfer case too ), this time this old guy that work there for over 20 years, he gonna doing my transfer case ( he told me this time I do this job, I will never want to see u again, cause I will do it right ). the dealer gonna get me new case with new u-joint. All the part gonna be here by monday :frown: . Well at least they cool enought to give me another Transfer case :naughty: . gthompson97 10-12-2006, 09:10 PM Geez Killer, you're really getting your moneys worth out of the dealer. The one around here would probably replace the whole car with a new one and tell you that everything was bad and it wasn't worth fixing....and all of this would be without consulting you. I hope I get as lucky as you do with good business at the dealership when (or should I say IF) I ever bring my car in.
