00 Neon Cold Air Intakeneondriver27 10-09-2006, 10:32 PM Hi, I bought a cold air intake and I went to install it and I think I did everything right, but I have a couple of questions: Inside the airbox I found a yellow rectangular fitment on a tube. I couldn't find a place to attach it on the Air intake, so I just left it hanging after I removed the airbox. Second question: when I rev the engine I hear a slight whisting sound. Could it be a loose seal or is that just what a CAI sound like? ANd one more unrelated question, When I get a header, will I need to take it to get welded, or is it just bolt on and done? thanks guys. das2123 10-11-2006, 10:13 AM 1)Can you take a pic of it? 2)Some CAI's make a whistling sound 3)The header will bolt on. m2736185 10-28-2006, 01:22 AM "yellow rectangular fitment on a tube" thats proly your AIT sensor. whisting sound is normal das2123 10-28-2006, 01:25 AM "yellow rectangular fitment on a tube" thats proly your AIT sensor. whisting sound is normalThey're on the tube on the 2000 neon?
