94 S10 Fuel Pump Intermittent ON/OFF

Can ya help a girl out? I have a long history with my truck and long story kinda short, shes going in for tranny work tomorrow (Monday) for a rebuild (3/4 clutch pack...imagine that). Anyway...shes been sitting for two years and had to make sure she ran before they do the rebuild. Replaced vaccuum lines, fuel pump, filter, cap, rotar, plugs, wires and much more. new CPI shortly before the tranny went. Almost everything under her hood is new and her EGR frequently gets plugged. got that cleared out and she ran like a dream yesterday.

Now...today...she starts then chugs and dies...fuel pump keeps shutting off. it seems intermittent...on...then doesnt come on. Checked the wiring and ground and everything else is good. Hoping its not the expensive CPI again and that its just the fuel pump relay or oil pressure switch? looking for opinions. Ive got a LOT of time and money invested in my baby and hope I can save her without draining the bank.

Any ideas?

update...just changed the relay and unfortunately that wasn't it. she's still stallin...

another update...still searching forums for remedies. narrowed it down to possible iginition switch? went out and started her up and hit the turn signal...she died. started her up again and wiggled the signal arm without actually turning on either signal and she died. signal arm is loose and wiggles a lot. am i getting on the right track ya think?

havent checked oxygen or crankshaft sensor but did check ecm fuses and all other fuses to make sure non were missing (especially cruise) and that none were blown.

fuel module & regulator are newer and not sure about the pass through harness in the sending unit.

im doin my homework guys...just need some guidence...

Also, you sure it is a 3/4 clutch pack? You better make sure seeing I don't think a 3/4 clutch pack exists on your truck.

yeah...im sure its the 3/4...when she first went...this is the first place i came and after elimination and a good friend at a tranny shop...it was supposedly a common problem. dont make me start all over with that one!...lol.

Best to start over and not assume the preson is not screwing you.

blazer...throw me a bone here...if you have your own idea, throw it out there for me. when the tranny problem came along...i searched this forum for days and most all had believed it to be the 3/4 as well. ive always trusted most in this forum as many of their advice and fixes have come through when ive been stumped...

im off to search again...

forgot the update...she's running smooth and strong now without stalling. so now she's ready for the tranny shop BUT before that...gonna check tomorrow to see if the throttle valve may be stuck and grab some lube guard.

and...if not clutch pack then solonoid? i went back and checked my original post about the tranny before and i did see that depending on the model (e or non e) it may or may not be clutch packs.

its the 460LE...perhaps i should have started another thread about the tranny.

i know im pretty much talking to myself now (with a little sarcastic criticism thrown in for kicks...thanks blazerlt) but it would be nice if someone with some sensible input would jump in here.

She's back to stallin out again and blowin fuel pumps. Bypassed the pulsator (which worked great at first and thought it was the problem), new ignition module, good pressure, wires are good, new filter. Talked to a guy today that just sold his 93 due to the same exact issue. I know Im not the only one out there! Also, I did switch to delphi since the carter's arent worth a crap...not that it helped any.
With no codes being thrown i really don't know where else to go with this...im running out of ideas and hoping someone here can help...
