Fuel Problems

My 2000 Chevy Blazer has been sitting all summer. After using it for some light hauling I have been having some problems.

When the fuel level drops below the ¼ mark, the display will travel to full/empty/full ext.
The acceleration has noticeably dropped.
When the tank was near empty, and sat overnight, the truck would not turnover. After turning the ignition on and off a couple times the engine started.
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help.

I say your fuel gauge sending unit is going out like it does in about all the Blazers it is somethig you just learn to live with. You have to pull the fuel pump to replace it and by the next things you are saying it may be your pump going out or you might just need to change your fuel filter. A good tune up might help also.
