G10 Stalls

While driving my Chevy G10 van down the road. First my speedometer dropped to zero and I lost acceleration. At that point I also lost power steering. Brakes were also slow to react. Luckly I was able to pull of the road. The van was still running so I shut it off. I tried to restart but was unable, although it did continue to crank with plenty of power. Tow truck came, towed to PepBoys. They pulled the dog house off and replace a fuse. They ran it for 30-45 minutes with no problem. I picked up my vehicle and drove it for 5 minutes stopped a store then restarted it and it ran for 5 minutes then stalled again with the same symptons. Towed it back to Pepboys, they replaced the fuse again and it runs. I know it will do it again. Pepboys wants to check the fuel pump ($250) and if that doesn't work they think it is the computer ($1000 or so). They only problem is I have to pay for all of these diagnostic test. Has anyone experienced this problem before and received a solution?

Welcome to AF.
I would suggest a good repair shop that can test things out before throwing parts at it.
Like Checking the amp draw on the fuel pump motor and the circuit that fuse feeds.

What year engine and what fuse is blowing?
