First off let me say, I do really like this car. It looks nice and I feel safe driving in it, most of the time. But, man all the issues I have had with this car. Here's a nice little list

* Wipers - Delay works sometimes and other times won't shut off, then they just won't work at all. Washer won't spray anymore. We are working on fixing that problem.
* Light on dashboard by Tach is out
* Brake issues. Replaced both front calipers and one rear. still when I try to brake while making a sharp turn, ie parking lots or onto another road the ABS seems to act up, makes a mechanical sound and brake pedel pushes back at you for a few seconds. Was scary at first, but now I know when to expect it and how to avoid it. once this happens the ABS light comes on and stays on.
*ABS light will flicker then stay on alot of times after hitting bumps or rainy weather.
*Replaced both front wheel bearing assemblies
*A/C is no longer cold, plan on checking the coolant level next summer
* newest problem, is now getting sluggish when accelerating, just doesn't have the power at take off as it used to, going to have fuel filter replaced and put fuel injector cleaner in tank at next fill up.
*Fog lights are now not working again, probably messed up wire, boyfriend fixed once already
*Driver side power window very rarely won't go back up if fully down.
*Hood latch was stuck shut - We lubed this real good now it works
*Drivers side mirror shakes pretty bad while driving especially at highway speeds.
*Replaced Lower front balljoints and back rotor for inspection
*Parking brake no longer holds

Things pointed out to me at last inspection were: UV joint rusted, motor mount one is torn, Drive shaft rusted, and I think there were a few other issues, but we found a mechanic that passed those items.

Any clues on my brake or poor acceleration problems

On the brake deal maybe you did not get all the air out of the system when you bleed them. As for your E brake they might need adjusting or they are wore out. You didn't say how many miles was on the car. The E brakes are drums behind the rotors on the rear and GM did not make them to last forever. They work sort of on the same principle as the old brake system except the shoes can rock back and forth hitting the drum as you are driving wearing them down. Sometimes you can flip them and get some more wear out of them because these shoes run about $70. and are a bitch to change.

Has the car's computer been scanned? If so, do you have a printout of the trouble codes?

I agree with alblogg on adjusting the parking brakes.

On your washer not working if you have a rear washer good chances the hoses have come apart at the rear gate and your washer fluid is leaking out.Take off the panel on the back hatch where the wiper is and follow the plastic tube. Mine had came apart in three places two in the hatch and on under the carpet at the edge of the cargo area. That piece just pulls up.

Just redid all the brakes (calipers, flex hoses, cylinders, pads, rotors and master cylinder). Noticed while working on the front that the sensor wires were rubbing on the inside of the rims where it makes the loop. Had to repair the bare wires and reposition the wires and clamp to make clearance. Just something to look at. Mirror was probably hit, remove the cover and see if the screws are tight or if the plastic is broken around any of the screws. As for the E-brake, check the adjustment under the truck directly under the driver's seat. On the wipers, don't know if it still pertains to that year but GM had a problem with the circuit cards having cold solder joints that would break and become intermittant. They had a recall to replace affected vehicles. Might be worth checking into.

Good luck!!
