Power locks repeatedly lock when activated. - 1996 Accord LXaluminumpork 09-30-2006, 06:04 PM Now when I attempt to lock my door with the lock switches, keyless, driver side door lock or anything else that triggers the power lock, they repeatedly lock over and over forever, until I press unlock. In order to lock my doors at all I had to pull the power lock fuse so at least I can lock them manually. At first we thought the security/keyless (aftermarket) system was doing this, but that system recently got pulled and this still happens. Any ideas? Thanks hahakenny 10-02-2006, 04:17 PM I had a similar problem with an older 91 accord. When I locked the doors, the rest of the door locks would go crazy and continuously lock and unlock. My problem was the Power Door Lock Control Unit inside the driver's side door (Don't remember the actual name of it). It controls all the power locking mechanisms for the rest of the car. I went to a salvage yard and paid approximately $50 to $100 for a used one and it worked! Hope this helps. lorunner 10-14-2006, 11:33 AM Sounds like you have a bad drivers door lock actuator jeffcoslacker 10-15-2006, 08:16 AM Is this one of the ones that if you locked the driver's door, they all would lock at the same time? If so I agree with #3 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
