Digital cluster gas gauge reading always full

I have a problem with the digital dash of my 1994 blazer tahoe. The gas gauge always reads full, All other blocks work, that is the only one that doesn't and I have tried everything I can think of to fix this problem. I have reseated the cluster, I have checked every fuse I could find, I have checked all possible ground wires, I even went as far to check the gas pump ground wire above the bumper. I am stumped with this one. This dash worked in the 1991 Jimmy that I removed it from, so I know it works, It was wrecked and the gauge read half full. Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks

Here are some specs on it:

The 1991 Blazer may have used a 0-90 ohm sending unit in the fuel tank. The 1994 Blazer may use a 35-240 ohm sending unit in the tank. If you're certain the sending unit is correct for the cluster (and PCM) there may be a problem with the sender itself. Can you read a resistance to ground on the purple wire at the tank? What resistance?
