1995 Blazer flooding

:banghead: I have a 95 s 10 blazer vortec 6 cy, any how it has 189,000 miles and had it for a year, check eng lt has always been on, started running rough, so we have put into so far upper 02 sensor, egr, new plugs, wires, check the cat conv{it was fine} ran better after the egr, carbon came out pipe like clouds of dust, but took half tank gas to go 14 miles, only to find out now its floodin, cuz smell like gas and it is in the oil, {just after new oil change} what can be the problem, I been told fuel pressure reg, also may the spider thing, any help:confused: it starts right off but after a minute it smell like a gas station

Yes, it sure sounds like you have a fuel leak under the plenum. Inside the intake. Apparently the plastic lines are a popular leak to have. Mine was leaking very slightly a number of years ago, but yours sounds like a huge leak.

Thank you,gonna have to check that out, we are all chevy people, But when it comes to vortec. like working on the older styles.

After 2 garages misdiagnosed it and didn't convince me that it was a fuel pump I checked it out myself. After diagnosing it , I pulled off the plenum and seen a tiny pinhole in one of the plastic supply lines . I got a new line set and just replaced it.

I have heard it called "nut kit" or something like that, it seems to be a common problem. Mine was a number of years ago.
