I apologize if this has already been addressed. I did try a search...no luck.

What I am looking for is what stock rims off of other RWD GM cars or trucks will fit a 98 model Chevy S10/GMC Sonoma. I am looking for the largest size possible. I am wanting to dress up my trucks a little with a factory looking performance wheel.

What have others out there been able to bolt up? Post some pics if you got them.

the bolt pattern is 5"x4&3\4" same as camaro\firebird\corvette. make sure the back spacing will work. if you use older wheels (80s z-28 look good on s-10s)keep in mind the lug nut taper is differnt on meteric vs standard thread. local after market wheel seller can remedy that.

I do have a set of rims off an late 70's model corvette. The bolt pattern lined up fine it was the inner "hub" that was off. The rim was larger than the "hub" that it aligns itself to when you mount them. It looked as though I would need some sort of adapter ring to line it up properly.

Are the later model corvette/camaro rims a direct bolt up without adapters or ecentric rings?

s-10 stock wheels fit the hubs pretty tight but new wheels that don't is not a problem. they look good with 8" steel rallys. the later model cars have more back spacing. you need to do some research on that. one thing i positively know for sure if you get those fat boy tires you will have to be careful in parking maneuvers,at a full turn if the tire hits the wheel well there is enough flex to send the brake pedal to the floor. if you ride the brake it's fine. it's not a problem if you know what to do\expect.

Your saying the hole in the center of the wheel is larger than the center ring of your hub, correct?

98 and up s-10s have a smaller hub ring than all early years. You will have no problem putting those wheels on your s-10, the taper on the lug nuts will center the wheel.

Is your truck 2wd or 4wd? if its 4wd the wheels will stick out 2 inches.
