97 Honda Accord overheating????JoJo23 09-25-2006, 05:23 PM I am lost. I have a 97 Honda Accord and it seems to be overheating but the gauges aren't moving. There doesn't appear to be any leaks anywhere and now and then I put Coolant in just to be sure. I have checked the oil to make sure it isn't leaking into there. Does anyone have any suggestions? And if so > can you explain to me how to do the work myself (to save money)? Thanks SOOOOOOOOOOO much for any help. mpumas 09-26-2006, 01:06 AM What makes you think it is overheating? And what do you mean the gauges are not moving? In a normal car the temp gauge goes to the middle when it is at operating temp. What is yours doing? You add coolant to the overflow reservoir. Normal level is about half full. When you add fluid is it because it is below half full? If you overfill it, it will be forced out when the engine reaches operating temp. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
