i hear so much talk about the vintage s13 redtop and even the blacktop and of course you hear about the s15 sr swap.

so whats wrong with the s14 sr? why wont anyone use it?

clue me in yall........

There's nothing wrong w/the S14 SR...it's best suited for a S14...and there are less of those than the S13's due to the fact that S13's were around longer...89-94 vs. 95-98...and I think they sold more S13's too. In the US that is.

S14 SR is great...220HP and a strong manual tranny...good for all uses.

But I like KA24DET anyways...a friend of mine just ran a 12.5 on a 60-1 turbo, built motor, and other mods. He should be into the 11's w/race slicks and a better clutch...and I am sure if he squeezes a 150 shot...he'd be in the 10's...just like Duy.

364.7rwhp and 379.9rwtq is his output but that was in the heat w/no fan on his intercooler...so in cooler weather w/a fan on his IC he should put down well over 370rwhp.

Did I mention he raced a Viper (this is w/his old turbo...around 333rwhp) and beat it? I cant imagine who he'd be able to beat down now and humilate.

I watched that video of his where he ran the 12.574 @ 118.21. That is VERY impressive.

Yea I know Jay personally...I've seen him at like 4 different Nissan or racing events...it's a kick ass autocross driver too.

Man that's a sweet car. I dont dig on the non SE..but it seems to work since it has none of the SE junk...lol

He has Z brakes, Victoracer tires on special wheels, he has another set of wheels that are 18 inch C5's, a LSD....and of course the KA-T.
