Just ordered new mounts for the Eco, and now I got some questions. Anyone willing to give a brief explimation of the process? Anyhting to look out for or to make sure to do? As soon as I get them, i'll take pictures of the process and possibley write a how-to with em. Haha but atleast gotta know what your doing before you write a how-to on it. get a jack and jack stands first should cost you about 30 bucks but def worth it. make sure you have a rachet set with at least a 3 inch extension on it

Just get a jack and you'll need to support the engine with it while doing the top mount. Bottom is really easy. MAKE SURE THE CAR IS 100% LEVEL.... I learn this the hard way in a slight incline.

and grab some dawn for the top mount, can make things a little easier

lol...i have motor mounts...they are a waste...dont wanna hear my opinion dont read but i have just as much right to post here as anyone else does so instead of being immature and tellin you both to go fuck urselfs.....il take the high road and drop it here...thanx

Haha yeah, I felt like "putting money down the drain". I plan on turbo-ing it around the end of this year, I have heard bad things can happen without the mounts. And please excuse me if I prefer new things over used. Especially since my car isnt that old anyway.

my opinion is gonna b the same weather im in a good mood or a bad mood...i might word it a little differently but the moter mounts are either good or bad...my opinion is dont waste 65 bucks...dont waste any cash on a cavalier...please

It's only a waste if you've got the 2200 :thumbsup: Unless you're showing it or slappin' boost in there of course.

and actually if you are running a header it is very smart to put the motor mounts on

Haha no im not, right now just intake on the engine. After these two things im planning on ordering a new flywheel, new clutch, and then lowering it a bit. Then saving up for that stage 2 turbo thats been haunting my dreams for quite awhile now. =D

go with a custom kit (if your able) i am not sure on your knowledge, but if you buy all the peices yourself you can say some money. just pieceing them together can be a pain
