Help pick my project..Cl0ak 09-23-2006, 05:32 PM I'm looking to pick up a second car just to play around with and have a project but I want to knock a few off my list to make the choices easier. Basically the criteria is pretty loose, I drive stick but i'd take an automatic, RWD FWD AWD doesn't matter I have a cavalier that is my daily driver and serves me just fine in winter too. Import or domestic...additional suggestions welcome Looking in the range of $800 up to $3500 for the car itself. 1. Nissan 240sx 2. Chrysler Lebaron GTC 3. Toyota MR2 MKI or MKII 4. Oldsmobile Hurst Olds 5. Datsun 240z 6. Dodge Stealth PlayStation3 09-23-2006, 11:18 PM is it sctrictly going to be a a project car and not a daily driver and which dodge stealth is it. if it is the 300hp one then that one, Cl0ak 09-24-2006, 01:11 PM Strictly a project car. PlayStation3 09-25-2006, 04:15 PM dodge stealth Deano85 09-26-2006, 05:23 PM What are you going to do with the car? alphalanos 09-26-2006, 05:28 PM Yeah, its kinda up to you. Thats like asking "What should I do for a hobby?" Its whatever you are interested in. Personally I would love to have either an MR2 or Miata to work on. Cl0ak 09-27-2006, 09:58 AM Well I'm just trying to narrow down the list. Basically I wanted to know if any of the cars I listed should definitely be avoided. I'd take any of the list so its hard to choose especially since i've been able to locate them all mostly in my area for a good price. alphalanos 09-27-2006, 10:05 AM Out of that list either the 240 or MR2. The other choices arent a easy to work on or find performance parts for. master hec0 10-01-2006, 11:08 PM id do the datsun but it probally would be hard to find parts for it Cl0ak 10-04-2006, 09:22 PM I found two mr2 mkI's in my area so thats most likely what i'll be going for. As mentioned theres quite a bit of support and parts availible for these cars suprisingly. Thanks for the input. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
