Fiberglass kit... All i have to say is have fun if it dosn't fit, but a dremel will be your friend for trimming if need be. Nice pick up!

Yea have fun with it, gonna need like 3 people to help you, only thing that might fit are the side skirts and even them u gotta trim, back bumper is gonna be hell, so be ready lol

great advice for you, test fit before you paint lol you woldn't believe how many people buy them paint them and then find out they have to chop the hell out of it

Hmm actually urethrane is supposed to be the same kinda stuff stock bumpers are made of. Its alot more flexible and durable, but if you break it, you have to buy a new one. Unlike fiberglass, which can be re-fiberglassed if needed. Kinda both have the ins and outs, but i'd still stick with urethrane just cuz its less of a headache.

they both are good in some ways and bad in other, but IMO if you have bumpy roads and dips and things like that it is almost better to get fiber glass so you can take it off once a year a fix it lol or I helped a kid get out of the snow once and we had to cut a piece out of his front bumper to get him pulled out, then we went home and glassed the piece back on lol, but lets hope that doesn't happen to any of ya'll

#4 Bodykit arrived cracked :( however it is fiberglass and it is very unnoticable seeing how it is on the bottom lip right besides the hole for my muffler. Precision cut, muffler fits in the hole and sh!t. Plus a little bit of resin and we'll fix that right up.

I had a reason to unpack mine... I ordered the kit from karo @ carcustoms.net under the circumstance that the type-j side skirts would be replaced with the Import fighter 4 door ones. Which when i recieved the shipment they weren't there, so I was on the phone with Karo while the Freight truck was still at my house. It was his error and i had the correct parts a week later. As a result i have a brand new set of type-J side skirts sitten in my basement with no buyer or Use for em.

You could always buy them and use the silicon like cody said, but that kinda defeats the purpose of buying something nice. I would just take some black silicon and run a clean bead on all the seams.

Looks good for a diy job with no tools or experience. Most that I have seen do not mount flush to the fenders, nor are they level across the top. I am with everyone else tho...do you have money saved up for a paint job or are you just gonna leave it white? Not to steal your vidoe glory, but I got those dam mounts on. AHHHHHHHHH! Ok, now that outta me... that was one most annoying and time consuming thing I have done to this car. Its always that dam lower mount. Cuz you know when you have to use a truck to get it in place... theres not even a word to describe it. AHHHHH seems to work fine tho. Butttttt, I really doi like the outcome of this day, extremly shakey at idle, and almost no engine movement during shifts or taking off. =D One step closer to that turbo.

i was reading an instructional thing from ebay, like a tips and tricks deal, on buying body kits off ebay, lol and it said to inspect the pieces for cracks while the driver is still there...yeah it took me like 10 minutes to open the box and lay the pieces out, lol. There was like 40 staples in the top of that, and on top of that, each piece was wrapped in small bubble wrap, then re-wrapped in big bubble wrap, with styrofoam pieces inbetween each piece....needless to say, it took awhile to get them all out, lol.

see the sender does it on purpose lol they make it as hard and time consuming as possible that way the driver wont want to wait around and by the time you get it open and discover whats wrong with it the drive is long gone lol.

oh well. I repaired it tonight, and I'm waiting overnight to see if it sets right. Then sometime this weekend we're going to try to get my back bumper on. For the front one, we had to hold it in place, and push the other side in, in other words it was 3 inches too wide, just like this back bumper is 3 inches too wide too. and I'm just afraid it will crack when we're bending it...I hope not :( Then on the side-skirts, we can get the two sides in just fine, but in the middle, it's not flush with the car...and on top of that, I'm not sure if you just like hold it to the car and screw it to the door panel and then fiberglass over the screws or...I'm still not 100% on that one.
