Cat for pacesetter manifold

I was wondering if anyone has installed a pacesetter header and cat-back sysyem? I just bought one and noticed that it says you have to chop the cat and weld an adapter to it is there any way to direct connect the header and the cat or do you have to modify the cat? also if any one has pics that would be appreciated.

What year car do you have and do have a SOHC or DOHC engine? I'd stay away from the Pacesetter exhaust, it will rust and fall apart on you in about 1-2 years. Maybe sooner if you live where they salt the roads in the winter.

I have a 2001 SE with a SOHC.

The pacesetter header is great for the SOHC, so good choice there.
