I have another small problem - I accidentally touched the two wires of the side marker light while trying to fix it and now both are out.. I thought it would be a fuse, but they all seem to be fine... Does anyone have an idea what could have happened?

Did you check the bulb?

Yes, bulbs are fine on both sides. But neither side works now...
