I couldnt find one of those on this forum but I was thinking of buying a 5 spd. manual neon and I needed to know the different types of neons...ok I want it to have power locks and windows and hopefully a cd player- which type has this? Is there a model down from the sxt that has power locks/windows/cd player? thanks!

What years are you looking at? The 95-99 neons are considered the 1st gen and the 00+ are considered 2nd gens. I'd recommend a 99 Sport model. It has power locks, windows, sunroof, spoiler and so on.

*edit* Also, if the milage is nearing or over 100,000 miles ask if the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner pulley have been replaced. You want to ask if it has the Multi Layered Steel (MLS) headgasket as well.

thanks, i was looking closer to like 2000. what is the difference between the sxt and the model down from that?

I don't know much about the 2nd gen styles and whatnot.
