There is not much of an aftermarket for Rodeo's

You can pick up a lift and some rear side steps (ones that protect you from rocks when off roading) at:

http://independent4x.com/

Chrome bumpers, grill inserts, I would watch ebay.

And for a roof rack I'm sure ylou could buy an OEM one off at www.car-parts.com or watch ebay (or check out a website like yakama).

If you're putting a lift on, I'm guessing you're gonna be doing some wheeling - in which case, don't bother with your typical side-steps or your standard brush guard, they'll do more damage in the long run.

You need sliders (side steps) and an ARB ($700) bumper

I have the Yakima Luggage system on my truck; don't bother with the standard oem luggage rack, they don't hold much, nor are they very sturdy.

Brush gaurd?

I personally wouldn't buy one. typically they cause more damage if you get into even the smallest of front end accidents. Even at 5-10 mph it will push back into the grill, hood, headlights and maybe even the fenders ......

here is a grill insert:

Here's a Picture of my Old Rodeo with the Brush Guard and a pic of my New Rodeo with the much better ARB Bumper. The Old Brush Guard pushes into the engine compartment during accidents. Happened to me once.

The Brush Guard you like on the White Rodeo is the one that might cause damage in a small accident. It's the look most people have for their SUV's but its not the best thing for Offroading. If you want it just for looks and protecting you from shopping carts, it should be fine.

Isuzukid2 - what happened to your first Rodeo, never knew you had owned two.

You know, I've had my '97 Rodeo for almost 10yrs and still haven't had the money to do everything you have to your black Rodeo - I'm jealous!! And mine's paid for!

My White Rodeo was a 99 2wd LSE, so I traded it in and paid extra for the 2000 4wd LS model. Couldn't deal with the 2wd anymore. Especially since i go snowboarding at tahoe alot. I hated the tire chains!....With my first rodeo, I knew what I like and didn't like on it and everything on there was mainly for "looks". With my black rodeo, i focused on looks plus performance.

I still have the blackouts, but I like having my headlights work. With the covers, the light was very dim.

Here's a link to some more pics and video from my offroading trip this past weekend.

Makes sense, is your '00 an auto or stick?

How bout I park my truck at your house for a few months and you can do some additions to it, i.e lift kit and ARB bumper?? hehehehe

I've already taken care of the bigger wheels/tires, have 32"s on there and with living in Colorado, don't wish to go bigger. Have my loadwarrior luggage rack, foglights, cb, silverstar headlights, etc just need a 2-3" lift.

Oh please please can I have your ARB bumper!!! The only reason I've kept the brushguard on the front of my truck is for the foglights - that's it, can't figure out where else to mount them to and have as good of lighting. Truck came with the brushguard from dealership.

Haven't been able to afford the $700 ARB bumper.

Thanks for the compliments :bigthumb:

It looks better in the pics then it does up close, has plenty of dings and scratches (I seem to be adding more :disappoin ) but cant see them really from a couple feet back.

I havent done much to the looks of it. Just light blackouts, full tint, driving lights, and gave it what seems to be it first ever wax job. I try to keep it looking nice though.
