Window won't go up

I've got a friend with a 96 Century who has the passenger window about two inches down and she can't get it up all the way. Is it difficult to take the door panel and then access the mechanism inside to manually push the window up so at least it can stay closed? If so, can someone knowledgeable give me some instructions?

Thanks

Removing the door panel is easy. Around the door latch and handles you have screws/bolts that need to be removed. Some are under plastic covers. After these are removed get a good grip around the bottom of the door panel and gently pull out. The panel is secured by several plastic push pin clips. Then lift the door panel up using both hands and lift off the top ledge on the door frame. Also, you can use a door panel remover tool. If any of the plastic push pins break you can get them at any auto parts store.

Thanks for your reply. What about the window? Once I take the panel off, is there an easy way to push it up all the way, or do I need special tools for that?

Had the same prob in my vw passat, was switch in drivers door got it fixed now but at the time i took the panel off and hotwired the motor to get the window up then left it unhooked so it stayed shut, this might help unless something is jamming it
