OK, I'm back from foreign lands! And now I'm shopping for R-Compound tires. I need some autocross rubber. My criteria are price and longevity (which is really just price and price). Since I've been out-of-pocket all summer, I don't need to be competitive right off so much as I just need to get back into my groove. I know a little about the grippiest, fastest tires (Hoosiers = magic). But the extra-grippy ones are expensive and don't last long. Any ideas on the cheaper, longer-lasting, possibly less-grippy autocross tires?
