Hello all,
I own a 2000 honda passport with an rear mounted 16 inch spare tire. I have been trying to obtain an official spare cover, and have purchased one off of ebay for a 16 inch tire, but it did not fit. It was clearly marked for a 16 inch, but was too small. Were there two different size 16 inch tires available for this model, or even going back a few years? I really want to get an original, but do not want to purchase it from honda as they seem to care less that I own a passport in the first place and their prices are outragious. Anyone have any help, part numbers, or other information for me? Thanks in advance!!
Jim

Yes, two different sizes of 16" tires came on the trucks, BUT the spare tire cover should fit both sizes of the 16" tires = 225/75 or 245/70 16's.

Are you sure the tire cover wasn't for the 15" tires that also came as an option on the Rodeo's?

The 15" tire cover won't fit the 16" tires obviously. Had two Rodeo's one with 15"s other with 16"s - their covers were not interchangable.
