ok i've only had my car for a few months now but i absoultly love it. its white with a nice body kit, chrome rimes 16" in, black interior. 4 banger 2.0L. so it already looks good. but i need engine work. i already put a full flowmaster exaust in it, includes high flow muffler, y-pipe, and it splits into duals in the back. helped a little. and i just ordered a k&n cool air intake kit with a tornado cyclone inside. that should help to. now i have about another 1000$ to spend. i can't find a superchip for it b/c its an sxt. i wanna start with small stuff and eventually work my way up to a turbo but i can think of anything else. i asked pro street about getting high performance pullys, they said not worth it. i cant find a pcm for it(performance modular chip). i was thinking about getting a high flow fuel pump for it but im not sure what that will do. any suggestions would really help. im still learning a lot about my car. 1000$ is the limit. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

"super chips" do nothing for out cars what you need to get is an upgraded pcu.
i would also look into an udp i dont know what the prosho[ is talking about when they say its not worth it less rotating mass= less power loss a better fuel pump will not do you much good unless you get bigger fuel injectors as they regulate the amount of fuel put into the manifold

Well the pro shop said better pullys are not worth it b/c its like 200$ and it will only give me like 5 to 10 extra hp. And ive been looking for a good pcu but I cant find any anywhere and the pro shops really are not much help. Any suggestions on where to look. And whats a udp???

cyclones do nothing preformance or save gas, and UDP are worth it

cyclones are really made to work for carborated cars as they mix the gas and air better. fuel injected cars are injected way to close for it to have any effect on atomozation(sp?).

There is no aftermarket PCM for the 03-05 neons because of the NGC (Next Generation Computer) that these years have. The computer basically recognizes the upgrades and "fixes" everything so that it still runs stock.

Howell Automotive sells a Jet Chip that is supposed to work, but I know someone who purchased it, had it dynoed and showed no improvement whatsoever.

UDP's don't give you HP but rather free up HP.

ok so i definately have to get a udp??? now that we got that outta the way is there anything else i can do to upgrade my engine without actually having to tap into my engine and spend a ridiculous amount of money? like i said i have 1000$ to spend. i saw on a few websites about a computer chip called G-Power/tri-phase. its supposed to give u like an extra 15-30 hp. more ideas PLEASE!!! thanks in advance!!!

Save your money and put an SRT-4 engine in there.
