My 1993 escort (1.9 liter) has the original O2 sensor and I want to replace it. I fear after this long (200,000 + miles) it has become one with the exhaust manifold. Would a super soaking of rust-bust do the trick? Has anyone out there changed this after so long a time? Thanks.

Mine is a '94 and I finally got around to changing it a few months back... it came right off!

When they are installed at the factory they coat the threads with an anti-sieze compound. Should come out with no problem. Be sure to put anti-sieze compound on the new one as you install it..
