Okay folks. Well, I've spent more money on my car in the past twelve months than I actually spent on its purchase. (about three and a half grand) I've replaced the timing chain once, the timing tensioner and guides twice, the motor on the drivers' side window and the regulator on the passengers' side window... grr...

NEW PROBLEM:

My Alero is now pulling hard to the left. It started a month or so ago along with a wobbly steering wheel (it almost feels as if the car is wobbling a tiny bit, but it's so subtle that I'm not sure), so I rotated my tires and made sure to check the pressure in all four. They're all fine, and have a lot of miles left on them. SO NOW WHAT'S WRONG? Any thoughts? I was thinking maybe a weak tie rod *I hope not*... what do you guys think? Front end alignment? I've owned it for three years and I've never had it done... Also... the low tire pressure light came on a week or so ago. Like I said, the tire pressure is fine, so this is not the problem. Could the light be related to the problem?

Also, a random note-- Where can I find information regarding the replacement of hazards on my Alero? It's a '99, and the hazards had been completely removed when I purchased it. Is it still under recall? There's this hole in my dashboard that they're supposed to fill. :(

Best thing to do is get an alignment first. They will let you know if any suspension or steering components are worn out. If that is good you could have what is called radial tire pull.

On the hazard switch/relay problem, for some reason the 1999 model is not covered under the recall.

How much should I expect to pay for the alignment?
