I just bought a 97 Deville With 80k Miles For 8,000
I notice when I turn the key you can hear a pump of some sort and you can hear an air leak coming from beside the right back tire, It stays on the whole time im driving and even when I just turn the key over without starting the car. The car still has a very smooth ride but Im concerned with the pump going out since it is working so hard I am pretty sure its a airbag leak or a hose leak of some sort but im not real sure and I have to drive about 30 miles to the nearest place to get it fixed. If somone could tell me what it might be, If its ok to drive it very much and how much It would cost to fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You definetely have an air leak in the rear suspension. It's either the air shocks themselves, or one of the lines. The only real way to tell is to get under the car and try and find exactly where the leak is.

Ok its got to be the shocks I just lifted the car with a car jack and turned the key on so I could hear where the leak was coming from, Then the leak just stopped, When I let the car down the leak came right back so I figure its gotta be the shocks, anything else it could be? Im not an expert or anything I guess Ill be making a trip to the Alignment station.

There is a line going to each rear air shock from a pump. If the rear sags because of a load, the shocks are pumped up to achieve normal ride height. Sometimes these air lines develop a leak due to rubbing on the chassis. There is a splice kit available from the dealer for a few dollars to fix this. Be sure this is not the case before you get involved with expensive repairs.
FWIW
YMMV
