Hi ! I finally got my 95 Rora !

Little things:
1. Steering wheel is like not fastened proply - not COLUMN, just wheel and switch assembly - where to look to fasten it ? It have like little movement not in a plane of steering. like up-down a little. NOT steering wheel position adjuster - it does it in any angle.
2. i got no LO-beams =((( and HI-beams switch are not locking into HI position. I tested like in GM manual - E13 and E12 of headlamp switch connector - 12v on E13 but 0 on e12, if i connect them, i get LO. So problem is deffo in the multiswitch ?
Forgot to mention - aftermarket alarm system (black bug) can flash lo-beams with no problems. But I want to use them too..... HELP
3. Antennae wont go down - it doesnt look like original tho.

Otherwise it drives nice, roar of V8 made me almost come =) Cruise, TC and abs all seem ok.

Any reccomendations ?
Thanx !

you say the alarm can run the low beams but you can turn them on manually.

can you try disconnecting the alarm control of those lights? maybe its not letting power "pass through it" when not armed.

enjoy, they are great cars. as they get older they are high maintenance. i have done all the normal bad stuff. input speed sensor (common check engine code), shift solenoid (common to be stuck in 2nd gear), light switch (flickering lights), heater core, water pump, axles, wheel bearings, coolant crossover gaskets, starter, fuel injection rail. the normal stuff !!!!

I tryed to locate point, at which signal is spliced-in, but with no luck yet. This black bug's wires are all over the place, making difficult to access 'original' wiring layer. It's control unit bolted to lights control module. Signal for cabin light are spliced into interior lights switch near switch connector - where's locig in that =)

As to it being high maintenance car, i live in russia, workhour is usually 20usd, part are available and i got car with rebuilt engine and a spare one for a bit extra =) And i am ready to take expirience in =)

Crap, without lo-beam it going to be hella difficult to drive =( Oh, and i can hear relay clicks in lights control box (with one blue connector and 1 white) every time i turn light switch in different positions.

thanx
Pavel
