1995 van will not start?

i have a 1995 e 150 van 145,000 miles ,the other day i went to the store and came out it would not start but did turn over and over . then it sat for 2 days and started right up ran fine, i had the fuel pump changed but still does it every week or so. then the van wouldnt turn the starter and it sounded like a battery but has full volts and the alt. is charging fine but started the next day and funs fine for a week or so again ....help me out

See if it starts when holding the gas pedal slightly down. If it starts, then it may be the IAC valve.
