I can't decide which to go with. I am on the fence with either KYB's or Monroe SensaTrac's

KYB's

Monroe

Any feedback or other options would help.

Thx,
Cad

The kyb shock is a gas shock, not much difference between it and a regular gas shock. The monroe is an air shock, gives you alot of adjustment. If you are hauling heavy loads (I dive, both sets of gear and 4 tanks weighs around 500 lbs) then you want the air shock, otherwise I think they are a pain in the ass, you are always adjusting them. Just my :2cents:

The first one listed in my Monroe link is the Air shock. I should have mentioned that that the ones i am referring to are towards the bottom of the page.

I definately do not want Air shocks. To many bad experiences with them.

I'd go with the monroe unless you are going to upgrade springs. The biggest problem with these cars is the springs get weak and the rear bottoms out very easily once that happens.

I went with the Monroe's on mine and the ride felt much better. You don't realize how much you are missing until they are replaced. I have had my GT since new. I would suggest doing the springs as well if they have not been done. Cheap replacement and a good time to do them so you don't wear out the new shocks prematurely.
