Hi, i have a 99 century custom with 137 000Km, i noticed the other day when i tried to pass someone i put the gas pedal on the floor the car shutters a few times then has no power. You can hear that the engine is reving very low, all i have to do is let up on the gas pedal and all goes back to normal. The spark plugs and wires and fuel filter have all been replaced recently.
The only time this happens is during hard acceleration.

Also, I don't know if it makes a difference or not but i currently have a rear abs censor gone so my Service vehicle soon, abs, and traction off lights are always on, wheather this is related or not i don't know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mark.

I would suggest getting the SVS, trac off and ABS issue resolved. It sounds like you have a bad hub/bearing on one of the wheels. Trac control may cutoff or reduce power to the engine to limit wheelspin or what it perceives as wheelspin if there is a flaky wheel sensor.

Thanks, I'll get that looked after first.
