my transmission has been sliping and the fluid was dirty. I had a flush and still no change to the slipping. It finally packed up yesterday. No matter what gear I engaged its just like it beeing in neutral. I know its major work but does anyone have any idear what componant has gone.
Thank you.

yup, it's the transmission!

the evidence is in the pan. seal or hard part failure, not that it matters what caused it,sounds like forward clutch pack is toast. trans time.
wish i had better news for you
if you swap it out yourself make sure the radiator trans cooler is clean and unrestricted.

I had the pan off to drain and replace the filter before i took it for a flush. There was alot of grey black sludge, more like a paste on the magnet and th fluid was very dirty..
