Code 119 Injector Open or Shortedynghank 08-20-2006, 12:46 PM Hello to all, I'm a new member. My Aurora has ben running pretty ruff lately. I did a full tuneup which i thought fix the problem to no avail, so i had the car scanned and received a code 119 injector open or shorted. I've asked around and no one seems to know how to go about checking the injectors or how to fix this problem. Could someone please assist me? maxwedge 08-20-2006, 03:06 PM Hello to all, I'm a new member. My Aurora has ben running pretty ruff lately. This would pinpoint the cylinder. Anyway, if you can see the injetcors look for corroded or bad connections at each connector, if none check the injector resistance to see if there is an internal problem. About 11.0 to 12.5 ohms. BTW, didn't see a 119 in the obd11 list. ynghank 08-21-2006, 02:13 AM No I didn't have any misfire codes, ynghank 08-21-2006, 02:26 AM Btw thanks for your reply, i just checked for resistance and got about 10.2 from the harnest at each output and around 12.6 at each injector all around. Does that sound right? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
