I love the new Z06's, freakin' awesome car. I got to drive one w/ headers/tune (498rwhp), and it was insane, fastest thing I've ever driven.

I love the new Zo6. I can't think of any other car I'd rather have for under $100k....and it's only $65k! My 10 year wet dream affair with the Viper has officially ended with a...gulp...GM.

You are correct.

But auto manufacturers rate cars at the flywheel, and the one he drove it rated at the wheels after the drivetrain loss.
Stock they make 505 at the flywheel and 440-450 at the wheels

the gearing on the new Z06 must've helped it by a ton compared to the shorter geared C5's. it looks like the C5 drops everytime it has to shift while the C6 can just stay in gear for much longer periods of time.

oooh i c, thanks for the info Mr.luos, your car is awsome by the way haha, ive got a 1987 iroc-z right now with the 305 :rolleyes: ive heard that the 305's arent very good performers and that they're not really worth putting money into so I am saving for an LS1 i love your car give the rest of us something to look up too haha.

The 305 is a good motor, reliable. Just not performance minded.
