Hey guys. I live in Canada.. im 18 years old, and i fell in love with those 1990-1997 t-birds...
What im looking for is a V6, 5 speed T-bird..
Questions:
How reliable is it?
Whats the price range? (i have 3000$ canadien)
Insurance is expensive on that car?
Fuel consomption?
Anything else you could suggest or tell..

So you want a '89-'95 Super Coupe or a '89-'90 XR7
because they are the only MN-12s with factory 5 speeds.
They are high maintenance vehicles.
Any 11 to 17 year old car will be in need of some TLC &
the supercharged Super Coupes/XR7s even more.

3k canadian probably isn't going to get you a NICE SC, and as jr said they are high maintenance. You want to find one that has been well kept. Insurance is going to be ridiculous no matter if you're driving a 3 cylinder metro or a cobra r, simply because you're 18.
Also, as long as you keep your right foot light, you should see good economy.

You could buy a MN-12 with an automatic transmission & convert it to a manual.
