Pretty much my question, I used to own a ford contour that you could fool the fuse box by jumping the headlight fuse with the fog light fuse and it would allow you to use the fogs without the headlights. You would still have to turn on the parking lights though.

Can this be done on an 02 LXi???

just cut the original wiring to the fog lights and do your own wiring. either connect them to a switch or splice them into your parking lights
