MTX custom sub enclosures?

Hi everyone,

I am looking to upgrade the sound system in my JGC and was wondering since I really need the storage space if anyone has ever seen or used or owns the MTX sub custom enclosure that bolts/goes behind the spare tire?

Its the only one I know of thats designed to go with the car and has a port through the enclosure for the spare to mount back up on.

Any advice or input on this would be great. I believe its a 10" sub with a 250 watt amp but it might be an 8" sub.

I am also considering puting either the Pioneer TS-A1781R or the Alpine SPR-17LP speakers in the stock locations.

I don't like a really boomy bass sound or an harh sounding system.

I like a full range full bodied sound so I am only looking at speakers for the 4 stock locations that do not use a metal based mid or tweeter if possible.

The whole thing would be powered off of a Clarion ProAudio DXZ665MP head unit. No worries about the sub as its a self powered unit.

Any input or advice about any of these parts would be great.

Thanks,

Joe
