exhaustbossbug2001 08-12-2006, 05:43 PM I am looking to get an exhaust for my Oldmobile alero (3.4, 6 cylinder) I want to get away from the tuner car sound (what I call a waa waa exhaust) Can anyone suggest an exhaust that will give me a deeper more rumble sound but still give a performance upgrade. Im not really concerned with being lound but I would like some sound and performance. xeroinfinity 08-14-2006, 12:26 PM The Borla or SLP from PFYC might fit your Alero. PFYC (http://www.pfyc.com/) A Custom Exhaust would be much cheaper. The Flowmaster 80 series #42583 fits under the rear just like the stock muffler, but it has dual outs(2.5"). I'll look around and see what I find on the net. xeroinfinity 08-15-2006, 11:43 AM Well bossbug2001, I looked around and you are right. I could not find any either . I even sent PFYC an email and asked them and they said neither Grand am exhaust would fit the Aleros. Looks like a custom one is your only choice. Good Hunting legacy87111 11-27-2006, 01:36 PM Would I be able to use this exhaust (Flowmaster 80 series #42583) on my 2001 2.4 SE? xeroinfinity 11-27-2006, 06:25 PM Sure can use it with about any 99+ Grand am/Alero. Will have to probly make another muffler mount but thats not big deal. Though with the 4cyl, it wont sound as beefy like the V6. GA STREET RACER 04-17-2007, 04:24 PM MAGNA FLOW IS A GOOD exhaust is the bast one ive found so far its custom but i got 15% mor hp from it xeroinfinity 04-17-2007, 07:37 PM :shakehead Again GA STREET RACER, please look at the dates !! :disappoin vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
