1997 3.8 T-Bird with a P0155 & P0161 codes that will not go away. The car has 136000 & complete tune up with wires & 4 new O2 sensors. I have checked the circuts on both the bank 2 sensors & thge heaters have 12v and a good ground. Reset the codes & they come back in a matter of minutes on a test drive. Does anybody know what the HELL is going on with these Fords that keep spitting out these heater codes. I have seen a number of post on this topic but no soulutions. HELP !!??

I don't know if this could cause your situation, but have you replaced the cats? Mine became clogged at around your milage, which caust exhaust gases to go back into the cylinders, blow the headgasket, and repeatedly cause the coolant reservoir to fill up, and overflow.

Like I said, I don't know if this may be your problem, but your cats may not have gotten to that point yet. At least it's something you can consider - I may be way off here, tho...
