97 6 way pwr driver's seat not working

None of the toggles/flip controls are working. Any ideas. All the connections under the seat are seated/fully connected. Found the 30A fuse (silver metal rectagular) for it in the interior fuse panel, but since it does not look burned/broken, how do I know if it is still good. I plan to switch it to another 30A fuse socket for something I know works and eliminate from there. Just checked the fuse later that day and it is good. Could it be the fuse socket and not the fuse?

Any other troubleshooting options for the power seat controls?

Oh, BTW, my Mother-In-Law or wife spilled water that soaked through the carpet a little, not under the seat, but near it where you put your feet just beyond the hump. One other thing, I had to fix my rear taillight/turn signal assy where I cut the harness connections away, put connectors on them, and secured them to the 5 prongs exposed from the taillight assy. All that works fine. I wonder if that work somehow shorted out something to the pwr seat controls.

This morning, 8/10, started the van and the pwr seat controls worked. I thought great. Before I shut the van off when I got to work, they did not. Hmmmmmmm. Intermittent??? Next, I will unplug all connections under the DS seat, clean, put some di-electric grease there, and retry. Will keep you posted.

Any other ideas to correct once and for all?
