egr problemstratoblasters 08-08-2006, 08:02 AM I have a 95 explorer 4.0 v6. There a 2 hoses that run from the egr valve sensor to the air tube that goes from the exhaust manifold to the egr valve. The hose keeps blowing off even after replacing the sensor. Would a bad egr valve cause this? Does anyone know of something else that would cause this? Thanks! bumpinkicker04 08-17-2006, 04:12 PM I have a 95 explorer 4.0 v6. There a 2 hoses that run from the egr valve sensor to the air tube that goes from the exhaust manifold to the egr valve. I would replace the hoses cause you are talking about 11 years of being exposed to heat , dust. and everthing else under your hood. they may just be wore out. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
