Hi All...

I hope someone has suggestions for me on this. My blinkers left and right intermittently work. Sometimes they start to work and then stop working. I was told to replace the flasher unit (even though those work just fine). My problem is that I can't find the flasher unit. I am thinking I have to take apart my dash just to find it. Is there another cause maybe? Does anyone know where I can get a diagram of where the flasher unit(s) are? I was also told there may be two of them. I am open to any and all suggestions!!

Have a similar problem on my 95 S-10. The flasher relays are in the back of the glovebox, behind a plastic cover. Had a challenge to get that cover off.
There are two flashers. Paid about $9 each.
I changed both, but no improvement.
My brake lights all work, my 4-way flashers all work.
Have seen some other posts about possible causes:
1) Turn signal switch assembly
2) bad wire connection to flasher unit
3) multi-function switch in steering column.

My flashers started to work slower, and slower .. long on-off cycle.
Then it would be intermittent.
Will be taking it to a mechanic soon, as I have exhaused all my amatuer
diagnostics.
Good Luck. :-)
