Over the past hour I have been bombarded with 17 emails from the automotive forum telling me that I have a response to my thread "Booyysss I'm home" I believe that someone deleted this thread.....HELLLPPP !

I use my email for booking requests in my office and getting flodded with spam kills all the fun..

And how was your day ????

I deleted the thread after freezing it for a day. It was becoming too XOC'ish. :D

Try going into your AF Profile and see if the thread is listed under your "subscribed threads". If so, remove it and that should end the e-mails.

As a side note I created a folder on my home e-mail to redirect any AF message notifications. Sometimes I want to know if someone responded, nonetheless they get redirected out of my normal e-mail.

Well I meant the message content of XOC not Ian personally. I have to crack my whip on you newbies every once and a while. :D

I would come up for your BC camping trip, but it's right after GoX and also coinsides with my sons birthday. We'll have to see how it goes...

Hmmm, the warm and fuzzy feeling! :D

Well, let me be the one to say, having met Ian and chatted with him online, that he is a very knowledgeable dude and pretty cool too!

Chuck,

Never doubted that for a second. He seems like a very passionate and intelligent person. My comment was not meant derogatory but merely as a remark for Ian's "sometimes iron fisted justice in deleting threads on XOC. We had our battles on XOC, but as they say the world would be a boring place if we all had the same opinions. I admire the guy for devoting so much time on XOC.

Just a minor clarification, and then I'll drop it.
I only delete threads that violate the terms of service of XOC, never because I disagree with them.
The moderators delete far more than I do.

Have noticed that !. I still read up on a daily basis. Tons of good stuff is still being posted,

Gwen (my wife to be) thinks that we should get an ARB after having seen Chuck's X up close.

I am joining Jens tomorrow morning 0530am in Harrison BC to scout for the trip on the 15th. Should be good....even with only 6 X's

Chuck, are you heading to GOX??

No, I can't go! :( Aside from the cost of going and taking the time off, I have to be here anyway. We're converting to new software over the next 6 weeks and since this is software that is for me and going on my computer, I really need to be there for the installation, data transfers, entry, training, and final end of quarter conversion. To make things really interesting, my boss is going to be gone the week after this goes active, so I really need to know how everything works.

I would be going with you guys ont he 15th, but I bought Mariner's tickets two months ago for the game that Saturday and I'm taking a friend of mine, so I better go. If it weren't for the fact that I had to buy the tickets 3 months in advance to even get them and the fact that I'm going with a friend I'd probably ditch. Funny thing, my company is having a golf tournament that Saturday too and I had to say no to that. Why did everyone plan things for that weekend?

yeah...what is it with that weekend? I wanted to go too, but like I said before, I have my 10 year reunion that Saturday...

10 year reunion... GOX...
10 year reunion... GOX...
hmmm.. I think I'd rather go to GOX than see how fat everyone from high school got...

(bummed because I never get invited to my reunion, because I never graduated)

I blew off my 20 year reunion this summer! Why bother? High school sucked! Now if I had a reunion with the guys from the A-team I served with, that would be worth going too!

Ian is absolutly right, I would NEVER want to see they fox I made out with in grade 12 turned pig after having umphteen kids and a husband named bubba...why ruin the picture.......

Besides Army reunions are more fun and toxic........
