I've been told that I can get better shifting RPMS if I disconnect my battery to clear my ECM for 15 min, upon reconnect idle up to temp and proceed to take the truck onto the highway with a lead foot, getting to at least 100KM/h

My question is, are there any other tips regarding this method of reprogramming?

Very doubtful this would help. I have tried this when my '93 is cutting out due to the ECM going haywire. This method only RESETS the ECM, it does not reprogram it.

Good Luck,
HiSpeed

Nice modifications you've made...that thing must absolutely burn.

I intend on working on mine in the future :)
