My power steering on (a new Cherokee a few years old)had been grinding when I turned it to the right so I took it to Brakes Plus in Denver.
They said oh it should be the Power Steering Pump $500 than that didn't work so they had to replce Power steering gear box next $600, total 1,000 now 2 weeks later it's grinding again when turning....what the Heck??
Not only did I spend a grand on this but now it's not even fixed..Any ideas?:disappoin

go to some auto parts online and check prices of parts . then factor in the labor cost see if it comes een close. with the repair you should have atleast gotten a summary of work done.
