I do the swirl removal and polishing with a 7424, and apply sealant and wax by hand. In case you don't know what a 7424 is, it's this: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00004SUQ8.01._SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg Chiquae07 07-31-2006, 12:39 AM thats really nice. I actually enjoy detailing my car. Sure, it won't stay all nice and shiney forever if it's driven, but it's better than collecting dust in the garage. I take satisfaction in seeing my car clean, and am willing to devote the time and sweat to keep her that way. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d141/Artistic_Surfer/DSC07350.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d141/Artistic_Surfer/4-2.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d141/Artistic_Surfer/DSC06473.jpg She's 13-years-old and still has the "new-car" smell. :D clawhammer 07-31-2006, 08:52 AM That RX-7 looks great. What process did you use on it? G-man422 07-31-2006, 09:47 AM I actually enjoy detailing my car. How many miles on the 7? RX-7 Steve 07-31-2006, 11:11 AM That RX-7 looks great. What process did you use on it? Thanks. I just used a simple wash and wax. How many miles on the 7? Alot! (over 100K) :( G-man422 07-31-2006, 11:13 AM ^ oh, OK. RX-7 Steve 07-31-2006, 11:18 AM ^Yeah, I like to drive her. I originally intended on purchasing a low-milage R1 or R2 as a collector's-peice, but I decided that I would rather enjoy the car myself than spend the money on it and save it for someone else. G-man422 07-31-2006, 11:22 AM Thats understandable. I just wasnt sure if you were seriouse about it still having the "new car" smell or not. lol RX-7 Steve 07-31-2006, 11:23 AM ^Yeah, it really does still have the new car smell. No shit! She's got some miles on her, but she's very well-preserved. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d141/Artistic_Surfer/interior.jpg G-man422 07-31-2006, 11:29 AM ^ Thats awesome how well you take care of her. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
