I would like to know what the first you ever drove was. I mean the first like backing your dad's car outta the driveway when you were 12 or w/e. The first car I drove was a blue rusted 1985 Cavalier Station Wagon ...don't laugh I was 11 and felt like Dale Earnhardt behind the wheel of that car. At least it was a Chevy anyway.

Nothing fancy. It was a 1996 GMC Sifari Van. Unless you consider a riding lawn mower a mode of transpertation.

Although I did back my dads car out of the garage once with the door open when they were out of town. I had lots of explaining to do when they came home.

Mine is interesting:

It's called a Dacia. It's only made and sold in Romania, and a stripper model can be found brand new for around $4000. They also make a much better model which comes with a lot of comfort items, such as AC, power windows, etc, and that can go up to $8000-$10,000. Here what the newer ones look like:

This is really sad, but now that i think of it, I don't even know. It happened in like 4th or 5th grade after my dad picked me up from school. Half way home he told me to get in his lap and press the gas and steer, I got scared and drove maybe like 30 feet then let go. It was some sort of tan station wagan, no idea which one, guess I'll have to ask him next time I talk to him.

First car that I truely drove on the street was when I was 14. I was visiting my cousin, him and his dad just restored a 1968 Mercury Cougar...he had let me drive it down around his block....but when I was 12...I drove the work truck around the old farm...1984 Chevy P/U x4

1986 Ford Econoline van...I think I was like 6 or 7. My dad volunteered to paint the lines for the soccer league and I had to drive him around from field to field...until I got comfortable and thought it would be fun to put the pedal to the metal with my dad sitting in the rear doors.

Well my cousin owns a dealership in Connecticut (Champagne Chevrolet) and every Sunday when I would go to my aunt's house he would bring down a different car and when we would go for a ride and I would sit on his lap. Cars I remember are 1996 Cadillac STS, 1996 Corvette C/E, and a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. That truck was fast.

I can't remember which came first... if I drove the high school driver training 83 Chevette automatic around the county park first for driver training. I remember I drove my mom's 87 Lincoln Towncar around the church parking lot... OR... if it was when I drove this dude I never met's 85 Bronco with lift kit out of state when I was camping with my family in PA and went with him to the store. Dude cracked open a can of beer and offered me one. I think I was 16 and pretty terrified since I had never driven before.

Its kind of interesting to see how many peoples first cars seem to have had an impact on what they like now. Not everyone but some.
