I bought an Alero that has been well taken care off however it has been sitting for a year. Within that year it was driven maybe a total of 15 miles. Can anyone suggest what service I should have done to it to make sure that I keep her running well (oil change etc.)?

Thanks everyone

Year and mileage and engine and transmission?
Engine Coolant and brake fluid ever 3 years or 50K is a good start.
Fuel tank stablizer if it has been stitting a long time.
And yes on oil and filter.
Sitting is sometime harder on them than driving them some.
Keep them wheels turing some.

Sorry about leaving some essentials out. The Alero is a 2000 with 48k automatic transmission and a 6 cylinder (3.4 I think). Its been sitting because my uncle moved to Hawaii and didnt want to sell it but after living in Hawaii for a year I convinced him to sell it to me.

Transmission service engine coolant and brake fluid service and front brake pads and rear to if disc on rear air and fuel filter check
Battery is getting age on it if it has never been replaced.
Tires check over for dry rot and wear.

On the alero I have saw a lot of early front wheel bearing problems.
When the start going bad you will hear them.
Good luck with it.
