Hello everyone

I been racking my brain trying to fix my car and it still acting the same. A week ago today my engine light came on and my car started driving rough so I assume I needed a tune up. I did the tune up and the engine light is still on and it still some what running and driving a little rough. I recheck all the wires and plugs and they are fine. I even bought a diagnostic reader and and when I did the test on my car it showed code p0137 and p0302 when i look up the codes p0137 it said something about 02 sensor low volt bank 2 and the other code is cylinder 2 misfire. Please help me out i'm like totally desperate and don't know what to do at this point. It's a 2004 oldsmobile alero v6 3.4 engine thank you in advance

Welcome to AF.

You need to get the 02 sensor problem resolved and it will probably take care of the misfire to Cylinder 2 due to a lean trim condition.

P0137 is 02 circuit voltage low bank 1 sensor 2. This is the 02 sensor after the CAT convertor.

The PCM has detected the 02 sensor circuit is shorted to low.

It could be a bad 02 sensor or the wiring/electrical connector to it and back to the PCM module.

Ok

Where can I find the 02 sensor bank 1 and 2. I think i know where is one of them it's in the back under the 3 sparks in the back if i'm right

Bank 1, sensor 1, 02 sensor is located in the engine area by the firewall on the exhaust downpipe. 02 sensor bank 1 number 2 is on the output of the CAT convertor but before the resonator. You'll have to safely jack it up and crawl underneath to see it.
